The modern Asian Cup brings twenty-four nations into six groups before a sixteen-team knockout bracket. A finalist faces seven matches, and the range of styles—from East Asia through the Gulf and Australia—makes the route feel different at every turn.
This challenge gives the Asian Cup its own identity. Japan, South Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and Qatar are represented through their continental tournament editions rather than treated as a World Cup filter.

Each archive entry pairs a nation with a verified AFC Asian Cup year and the eligible players from that exact squad. Tournament icons, title teams and memorable challengers provide enough positional coverage for a complete XI.

The core draft remains familiar: choose a formation and difficulty, manage re-rolls, build chemistry and receive one seeded result that cannot be quietly changed after sharing. The tournament pool and match structure are specific to Asia.

Qatar retained the Asian Cup in the 2023 edition, played in 2024, beating Jordan 3-1 in the final to claim a second title. Akram Afif scored all three final goals from the penalty spot and finished as both top scorer and tournament MVP.
Japan hold the record with four senior Asian Cup titles. Their different championship generations, alongside Iran, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Australia, Iraq and Qatar, give the mode a much broader historical spine than a filter applied to World Cup years.
