Go Unbeaten (gounbeaten.com) is a free, fan-made sports draft game, available on the web and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. You can play without signing in. If you choose to sign in, we use the email and profile details supplied by your selected provider so your identity, runs, leaderboard entries and daily streak can work across devices. This page explains what data the website and app use, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

We create a pseudonymous player identifier so leaderboard entries, daily challenge completions and streaks can belong to the same player. Those entries store gameplay data such as sport, score, record, tier, squad rating, chemistry and public leaderboard name. Short share links store the encoded result payload needed to resolve the URL. An in-progress casual draft otherwise stays on your device.

If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or an email magic link, we store the account identifier, email address, name and profile image those services provide, along with session records needed to keep you signed in. We use that identity to merge and sync your existing anonymous game history. Sign-in is optional.

Your cookie consent choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) so we do not ask on every visit.

Analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) and Vercel Analyticsto understand how the game is played: pages visited, spins, drafts, simulations, and shares. Until you accept analytics cookies, PostHog runs in cookieless mode and nothing persistent is stored on your device. If you choose "Necessary only", it stays cookieless.

Error tracking

We use Sentry to capture crashes and errors so we can fix bugs. Error reports do not include personally identifying information; session replays mask all text and media.

Advertising

The website may show ads through Google AdSenseto help keep the game free. When web advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Until you grant consent, Google's consent signals default to denied and ads are non-personalised.

You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

The mobile app (iOS & Android)

The app creates a pseudonymous device session on first launch. You can continue without signing in, or optionally use Google, Apple, Facebook or an email magic link to connect that device to the same account as the website. Casual drafts remain local; leaderboard submissions, daily completions, streak data and short share links use our servers as described above.

Ads. The free app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. On iOS, ads are non-personalised unless you allow tracking when the system prompt (App Tracking Transparency) appears; you can change this later in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device's Google settings.

Purchases. The optional one-time "Remove ads" purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed for us by RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details. To recognise the purchase across your devices, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and the receipt from the store. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Analytics & crash reports. As on the web, the app uses PostHog (hosted in the EU) for product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting. We do not intentionally send your email address or public profile name to either service.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:

You can also clear the site's data in your browser settings, which removes the stored consent choice and any analytics identifiers.

Data deletion

Go Unbeaten does not require sign-in on the web or in the app. We do, however, store pseudonymous user, leaderboard, daily challenge, share link, device session and optional account records as described above.

If you signed in, interacted with us on Facebook or Instagram, purchased "Remove ads" in the mobile app, or believe we hold other data about you, you can request deletion at any time. We will remove identifiable data we control within 30 days of a verified request.

How to request deletion:

  1. Email hello@chewybytes.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Include the email or username you used with us, your App Store or Google Play receipt ID if you bought "Remove ads", or, for social interactions only, the Facebook or Instagram username or Page you used.
  3. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

If you arrived here from Facebook or Instagram, this section also serves as our official data deletion instructions URL as required by Meta.
